Probably a dumb question (colloidal silver)

My understanding of this colloidal silver is that it turns female plants into have male parts so the male can sperm all over the famale and get good seeds via reproducing with itself. What I'm wondering is if I were to do this one of my plants, would I risk pollinating all the other surrounding plants?

You can make a little isolation box pretty easily and cheaply though. HEPA (replacement) filters (<-link) that will catch pollen go for about $20 at Walmart if you can do just a little DIY.
