Well actually I'm wanting a Soil for my Garden but thought I might use it too for my other grow.

This is what I'm fixing up. Figure put some Peat Moss in for filler then some soil.

Pro-mix is great. I used to use the all purpose they sold at home depot but i think it was discontinued.
I believe bx is the the replacement for it.
The tomato herb mix they sell at hd now is kind of a bummer
BX and hp are exactly the same other than the amount of perlite added.
HP - high porosity. More perlite - recommended for cannabis
Anything other than bx, HP, or cc isnt the best choice for cannabis. Maybe some planters with ornamental flowers.

I did not know that!
I have used hp indoors and always used the hd pro-mix all purpose with mico's in my outdoor veggie garden.

You're right tho the bx is 'all purpose'
They all have mycorrhizal. But it's practically useless. The count is so low, there's prob more on your shoe after walking outside

I'm using Promix Premium all purpose for a solo cup challenge. I also used it for a basil cutting I have. I have no experience with this mix as I usually use the HP Promix and add my own fertilizer. Thought I'd test it out from start to finish in that challenge. Here are the details.

https://www.promixgardening.com/en/product/detail/promix-premium-all-purpose-mix

INGREDIENTS
  • Canadian sphagnum peat moss
  • Peat humus
  • Perlite
  • Limestone
  • Controlled release fertilizer
  • Mycorrhizae - PTB297 Technology
The controlled release fertilizer is supposed to be for 9 months. I couldn't find the specifics on it though.

Might not be for somebody who wants to know exactly what the slow-release fertilizer mix is.

i use promix hp and sunshine mix #4 works fine for me
I had great success using the Sunshine #4 advanced black & yellow bales but man did my back suffer a beating busting down all them bales. I now grow in Coco/perlite again. Looking back at notes though some of my best yields were in 20 gal pots of Sunshine Advanced Mix #4 using the complete CYCO feed. I no longer buy all those bottles but I also haven't seen numbers like I had back then since.. Many things have changed though, went from double ended 1000w hps to 700 watt LEDs, switched to 10 gal pots of coco/perlite and I only use potassium silica (Armor Si) & maxibloom start to finish.
