pro 420 par inda-gro in small area question

Hello everyone.

Quick question about this light, how would it perform in a small 2x4 tent with computer fan ventilation or a 4'' inline fan with the speed turned down?
My concern is that the "1000w equivilent" power might be to much or just an unusable amount of light in such a small area. I currently own a 1000w magnetic hps setup that i used in the past in a aprox 4x4 area.. the location i will be at in a few months has a bit more limited space.

as for the ventilation, as mentioned above I was thinking computer fansrefreshing the air with a 4inch fan recirc' air inside through a filter, or just the 4 inch and filter as exhaust.

I wouldnt be building this setup for several months, but I want to gather all my info now.

2x4 footprint, what height? There's a big difference between 3ft and 8ft.

they claim it puts off very little heat, similarly to a t5, so with the footprint of the light itself being very close to that of the tent, I was thinking like 6 inches ...

I meant ceiling height, like how tall is your tent/closet/room?

If the room is short you might not be able to get the angle of light spread. I haven't used the IG420, but I would love to. I know some people have them within 12" once the plants get tall. With that space, I'm not sure it would be my first choice.

That Inda Gro will kick ass in a 2'x4' area and I doubt you ll need more than a simple fan most times of the year ..
