Prices for hps lights, metal halide, and cfl !!??

I have seen alot of info on these three lights - hps, metal halide, and cfl. For one plant: What are the prices for each and which light out of all three is the cheapest most efficient and can get the plant to flower? By the way i am trying to stick on a budget less than 100 dollars for these lights. Help would be great :joint:

CFL's are definitely much cheaper to purchase than any HID(HPS/MH) system. Many people use CFL's to veg their plants, some use CFL's to flower as well but many people will say that CFL's are inferior to an HPS when it comes to flowering. There's no doubt that a plant will flower under a CFL (in the proper spectrum of course) but its been said that a plant flowered using CFL's will have light and fluffy buds whereas a plant flowered with an HPS will have much denser buds. Considering your budget, it looks like you'll be going with CFL's. You may want to consider a combination of CFL's and a 150w HPS. This seems to be a popular option for those on a tight budget.

Good advice above. Have a look on amazon.com - they have 150w HPS systems in the $75 range.
