Preflower, when to start flower...

Hey there so quick question or two 1. I am pretty sure this is a very small pre-flower sprouting up on my plant: PREFLOWER.jpg please confirm if its possible.
and 2. Most of what i have read say to switch into flower after it hits 12 inches its currently at 8 inches and growing about a inch a day, is this a pretty accurate point i know you start on 12/12 and all that but this is my first grow its indoor and i also don't want the plant getting bigger then 3.5-4 feet any bigger then that would be unmanageable in my closet and for my apartment. Thanks in advance.

You can easily let it go to 12-14 inches regardless of showing small signs of flower or not. I usually veg on a 24 cycle and I still occasionally see small flower sigs before. If you let it only go to 8 inches its going to end up being a very small plant in the end.

Ok so in my opinion I think you should let it grow 1 1/2 feet tall to be on the safe side., I think it will reach almost 4 feet. RIght now i put my plants int oflowering 11 days ago. they were 2 feet tall, so right now they are 3 feet so im guessing they will get at the most 5 an a half feet tall at 5 feet I will add some stuff to it so it will stop growing. Becasue I dont want them taller than 5 1/2 feet.

What type of light are you using? Remember when you switch to flowering to keep us update it =)

Alright sounds good, i have it under 4 40 watt cfls about 4 inches above 2 daylight 2 warm i will wait till at least 12 inches but we will see also if its a male or female i don't know yet it kind looks like there's a little white hair coming out of that but it may just be the lighting from the flash and all little hairs that are on the plant the strain is supposed to fruity pebbles.
