Pre harvest

5 gallon pots with pro mix hp. Feeding advance nutrients mostly every watering. Just started week 7 flower I plan on harvesting at day 62. When should I stop feeding/ begin flush?
What do the plants tell you?
You can taper the EC as you go or once you notice that they've slowed down a bit and arent drinking as much. Roughly around wk 8-9. Most cultivars take a solid 10 weeks to fully ripen.

You dont need to flush/leach the medium. When you get close to chop day, just water with plain water or a very weak nutrient solution.

Is there a reason you're going harvest at day 62? Do you run a perpetual grow and need to cycle in new plants? Is there no way to take them to 70? Sometimes that extra week makes a world of difference.

And a little unsolicited advice - avoid using the "F word". Its akin to dropping blood in a shark tank.
Seriously -

i agree, no need to flush, i grow organic, and the plants get all the food they need or want from the soil and tea's that feed them if needed. so no flushing.
but its your weed, if you want to flush, then flush away, to my mind, your just washing out the nutrients the plant needs to flower properly

Lots of people are giving flack because you basically stated you're going to pick the plant on x day when you haven't grown that particular plant before. Once you've grown a cultivar a couple times you can start to get a general idea of how many days into 12/12 that its ready to harvest.

Flushing the plants only removes needed nutrition and stunts further development of the plant. Feed a reasonable amount of fertilizer start to finish and you will have the best results. Smooth smoke comes from the drying/curing process and ultimately those things all involve patience.

If you were do a Pro's Cons list the only Pro you would have is that you'd be correcting any potential excess of any component in the rootzone. Beyond that you're likely just starving the plant of needed nutrients and stressing it out.
