pre flowers +rep

Im in so cal and wondering when I can expect so see pre flowers, and also when is the official flowering time ??? my plants have been growing since 4/20 there pretty much good sized plants.

does anyone have any pics of pre flowers??? If pre flowers are what I think they are then at least one of my plants has em, (**little while pistols coming out with where the leaves start?)

oh and how long does the flowering period usually take??

first off you should def be seeing preflowers at this point. they are two little white hairs that come out by the nodes. My outdoor has been going since early may and i am into my third week of flowering( I live in noth texas). After preflowers show it means your plant is ready to begin the flowering process. Each plant is different when it comes to the amount of time it will take to finish up. A safe bet is 9-11 weeks. That is a nice looking plant, you should have a lot of bud sites. I would expect maybe 1 1/2 ounces after it is cured. Hope i was of some help to you and good luck. Check out my latest thread, pics of my girl. you can find out the sunrise/sunset in your city in that link^^. we're getting closer to fall, so the days should be getting close to 12/12, and in outdoor settings plants usually take notice of the shortening days and start flowering before it actually hits 12/12 exactly.

I found www.sunrisesunset.com easier to use. but still had trouble finding out when 12/12 is in so cal, lol I think im just going to go with the flow and expect to harvest and cure before november 6th

I want to take closer pictures but when I zoom in it just get blurry and its an expensive camera, does anyone know what my settings should be to take close up pics?(of the pistols and nodes)

all my plants showed sex early, thank you very much
