Females will put out white hairs (pistils) at the nodes 1st.
Males will have little balls at the nodes 1st.
Hemaphrodite will have both.

Thats pretty much just the plant showing its sex right?
I thought pre-flowering was something different. So if you can tell the diff between male and female plants you'll know when if its pre-flowering? Basically a plant showing sex before going into 12/12 lighting is preflowering? Correct?
A pic of a preflowering plant will look similar to a plant already under 12/12?
And what causes a plant to show its sex early? Genetics/grow environment?
I know alot of questions...but I may as well ask em all now.
