So I finally got a good TDS meter and wanted to double check on how to use it to help know when/how much to feed.
Unsure of how to correctly test ppm in soil, I just got some plain RO water (6.8pH - 12ppm) and watered both plants with it. Then tested the runoff 3x each and got 380ppm in plant one and 970ppm in plant two.
I recently had a small problem with plant one (likely salt buildup) so I flushed it, which I assume is why it’s much lower.
Can anyone tell me what ppm range is healthy and just overall how can I use the meter to improve feeding?
They’re in fox farm strawberry fields soil and in week 6 of flowering.
Thanks ahead for the help!!
