power source alternatives for a small cab?

thinking of putting about 40-60 watts of soft white cfls in a cabinet 2 foot x 2 foot 3 feet tall but i cant get any power in this room. is it possible to run a few cfl's for 18 hours on veg off of a car battery or some other type of cheap energy source? or should i even both trying

a power inverter? will this run for 16 or 18 hours daily?

40-60 watts to cover 4 sq. ft.?

I'm not a CFL expert by any means! But, shouldn't that be more like 300-400 watts of CFL's?

ive got a CFL veg box thats 23"x23.5"X2.5' tall, and ive got over 300w of cfl's, ur gonna need to do some reading before u start this grow if u want to get anywhere
