Powdery Mildew

While I don’t see any plant distress or any symptoms of powdery mildew on the plants themselves, I have noticed that the room the tent is in has a white haze (sort of looks like smoke but has no smell) in the air over the last two days.

ive since opened an exterior window to improve airflow and I’ve also ordered two fungicides (neem oil and a bonide 775 copper one) to treat just in case.

Assuming it is powdery mildew, can it be managed successfully through harvest? For reference, the plants in question are 2/3 weeks from flipping the lights to 12/12 and look extremely healthy.

If its PM, you will see chalky, powdery stuff on the leaves.

I apply Southern AG Garden Friendly Fungicide and Azamax as part of preventative maintenance up until second week after flip. I dont apply any sprays once bud formation starts showing.

If it is PM - can I still get this to harvest and have a decent product?

You’ll never see pm in the air before on your plants

Get to harvest yes, quality product not likely imo. I wouldn’t of opened an outside window if I thought it was pm though. Im thinking possibly pollen of sorts

Are your filters clean? Could it be calcification

Spray with Dr Zymes until harvest, then if the pm is bad to a post harvest bath in Dr Zymes Eliminator.

You have something else going on. If you have so many conidia spores floating around that they're making the air hazy I wouldn't be breathing in that room. Probably just stale stagnant dusty air that's noticeable under certain light conditions. You're plants would have to look like a flocked christmas tree to be spreading PM spores in the room to that extent and even then I doubt you would be able to see them.

Opening a window like you did is a good idea just for fresh air exchange.

A friend of mine had PM later in flower. Used Athena IPM to treat it, dunked the entire plant (no roots) into the IPM mix at treatment strength. got to harvest, tested out fine for our state's Med tests. I took this same approach with Thrips at work. I Dunked our clones, 2 weeks flowering, head first, roots out. Seems to have wrecked the thrips hard. pistols had some discoloration on the tips, like early ripening maybe. No other issues. you could likely mix up citric acid and water to accomplish the same thing with no Athena.
