I have a small grow space that I have built that is 22.5" x 22.5" x 70" with a 400W HPS cooltube.

My current grow is with a single 3 gallon fabric pot with a lot of LST to make it really bush out so it is using the entire 22.5x22.5

I am definitely not fully utilizing my vertical space but I am only 4 days into flowering and this grow is an indic a.

My question is, which would give me a better yield
1.) A single 10gallon pot
2.) Two 3 gallon pots with Scrog
3.) Seven 1 gallon pots using SoG

A rubbermaid tub used for deepwater would give you a better yeild.

The issue is not what size pot, but what do you put in the pot.

I saw a similar grow and the guy had great success with 4 plants in a big rubbermaid, yes, all together! I know it sounds stupid, but maybe sometimes it's worth a try ;)

I saw a 20 gallon square grow bag today that would fit in my space. I would consider using that and maybe putting in dividers to make it into 4 separate grow chambers so the roots do not intertwine.

I do not have the time for a true hydro setup, so it is soil only for me since I occasionally need to travel.
