Possible Vacay disaster!?

So I went on vacay and asked my neighbor if he could make sure to come over and turn my lights on/off on their 12/12.... they are well into their 12/12 period and I was gone for 4 days.... He did it the first day and then just left the light on for three days straight....... They look fine, but am worried about possible stress. Do you think im in trouble!?

It's not great. Have you considered spending $6 on a timer?

You should buy a timer instead of depending on your neighbor for this, it's ridiculous.

They will probably be okay, more or less.

I wouldn't even trust my own self to turn lights on and off at the same time every day, so I use a timer. It's literally the easiest and cheapest thing to automate in your grow

The bigger issue is telling your neighbor about your grow.

this is just a guess but what would keeping the lights off for 24 or 48hours after something like this happened?? and then go 12/12

would it be better, worse or same as just going right back to 12/12??

Also curious why one of your first purchases wasn't a timer.

You should have plenty of feminized seeds. Don’t worry they won’t be prone to hermies.

Your plants will more than likely be OK, might set flowering back a little, but the bottom line is there's not much you can do at this point (except buy a timer!). I feel your pain, I left 8, 2 week old seedlings with a friend, who trying to be diligent, brutally overwatered them, I salvaged 4 badly stunted auto's and had to euthanize the rest (nothing like a 4 inch tall auto in full flower)!!

You're just testing the genetics.
