Possible curing issues

Hi
Can anyone answered a couple of questions for me please.

When I first put buds in to cure, they were dry on outside but still had moisture, when u squeezed bud. And the were compact. 3 weeks later and they don't feel as compact as they were in fact they feel airy. My questions are, Is this normal that they feel dryer? And will they remain airy, have I lost compactness? Any help and advice will be appreciated.

Thank you

Some pics of before after?
All I can say is I know you do lose water weight (obviously, it’s a drying process) So perhaps the water weight added more umph to yr buds. Just speculation. How does it smell? Is it possible you over dried?
One thing i’ve learned over the years when reading these “perfect cure every time“ and tutorials on how to dry and cure your crop, is that they are talking large crops. Large colas, dense and long. If you try to hang dry a plant that had mediocre return on product, (ie. Lighter, airy like buds) that are just not to full fruition for 5-7 days your buds would be roached. These perfect cure rules do not apply to your grow if yr product is on the underdeveloped side, for ANY reason.
In that case, hang no more than 24, because your drying window is much smaller than say that of a plant that had large healthy buds that came to full fruition. When I was dialing in my grow tent, I had many low yielding returns, and I learned the hard way that simons perfect cure was out the window for my quality of product.
It actually is easier to cure on a larger scale. More water inside, that will forgive margin of error, unlike smaller buds will.
Hope that helps

They dried for 5 days before going in tin. They're not crumbly dry. No i dont have pics. And they smell of citrus and blueberry. Delicious if I do say so myself. This is only the second time doing this. Just gonna let them finish curing. See what happens at the end, when i spark up lol.

why not taste test now to see where they are at? I always taste test every week until I am satisfied with the flavor and smoothness
