Thinking about buying a portable a/c unit and Im a bit confused about how i should set it up. I grow in a tent in a medium sized bedroom and im looking to drop my temps 10 degrees or so in the summer.
Now, ive read that you shouldnt place the a/c in your tent because it creates too much negative pressure. Ive also read that most units need to be exhausted to an attic or out a window but you have to be careful not to exhaust skunky unfiltered air.
So how do most of you who dont use Co2 have your portable a/c's setup? Reading all of this makes me think that i should have the unit in another room and vent in the cool air. Maybe using something like this:

Maybe hook up insulated ducting to it and run it directly to my tent. Where is the exhaust at though? How does that work?
