Poor Planning

hiya, this is my first post so go easy on me :p

finally decided to grow my first plants and started germinating my seeds on monday using the paper towel method, checked today to see they all showed roots which is great ofcourse, but my soil, ph meter, nutes etc wont arrive until saturday or maybe even monday because of Covid-19. Because of this sudden change in my planning im now stuck with germinated seeds but no idea what to do, am i oke leaving them in the paper towels for a few more days or should i stick them in some solo cups and transplant them later? i know transplanting is not advised but if thats the only way ill have to do so...

Cant you pick up some seed starter mix or peat at a home depot or lowes? I wouldnt leave my germed seeds in towels for 5 days.

There’s nothing wrong with transplanting and it is actually something you should do. I hear people say that you shouldn’t transplant autos, but I can’t see how that makes any sense, especially if you don’t man handle and stress the plants during transplant.
Solo cups are fine. All of my plants grow out in solo cups for the first 3-4 weeks of their life.

If you have a Home Depot near you grab this ... Kelloggs organic or organic plus. Good basic potting mix that will not overwhelm a seedling. Black magic is another brand to look for or Dr. Earth veg garden which is the best of the bunch.

Most are under 10 bucks and you will be able to use that mix with your later grows as needed.

But if your lucky and you have a local nursery open near you .... look for EB Stone Recipe 420 mix ( killer soil mix ) or even Fox farm / Happy frog . Most of these will feed those little plants up front without worry , til you get up and running.
