hello every one im having issues with my setup for some reason. ive tried a couple different things and still heat remains. i have a steel vent piece with insulated flexible duct going from ac vent near tent as intake into the bottom (had it on top first but since hot air rises i put it to bottom ports) then two oscillating fans pointing towards the light and my t5 432watt light yet. my house ac is set to ridiculously low temp just to keep it at 79-83 with tent doors zipped up. i dont want to have to keep my house at damn near 56 degrees to keep it at 80 in the tent just to much. what can i do to change this set up and make it work. i have a carbon filter but not an inli e fan strong enough to use it. should i just get the 440cfm inline fan and use the filter to get the jot air out...ooh also for some reason its colder at the top of the tent. and i have almost every entry port ip top open i leave the main tent door slightly unzipped and i have the extra big side zipper slightly opened and still heat issues.

If it were me in your current situation i would scrap the ducting from the ac vent into the tent. I would then just use the same duct fan you were using for the intake and put it in one of the top ports to suck out the hot air. Just open one of the ports on the bottom of the tent opposite of the extraction fan and it will be a passive intake and provide good air flow. Later if and when your plants start to smell you can then add a filter. This should help you get your temps dialed in better.

use an exhaust fan to exhaust hot air out of the tent and out of the space, too. exhaust hot air out a window, with a dryer vent, and you can turn your temps back up to 72 degrees and relax. peace

This too is what i meant by just using the duct fan the grower already has in use until it can be replaced with a proper inline fan. I use just a 6 inch duct fan in my T5 veg closet to extract the hot air from the space using passive intake. I have the duct fan plugged into a tempature contoller and it works great.
So your saying just take the insulation duct from ac to tent out and only use the booster fan to try and get air out? Do you think it could do the trick in my 4x4x8? Last time i took that stuff out the temps shot to 91. I'll give it a try . So leave how many ports open at bottom just the bigger 6" one? Or a couple and then run booster as exhaust on top?

Yep. Try it with just one open opposite side of the duct fan. You can even open 2 and see what that does for your temps.

I have almost the same setup you do and i also strapped a duct from my ac unit down to my tent. Only difference is I took the booster fan and placed it on top of the tent sucking hot air out and just let the ducting coming down from my ac unit push the cold air on its own. I also have the same 2 black fans u use inside your tent. I placed mine on the outside and faced the fans towards the inside of the tent to create more air movement. Then i just used a little $8 clip fan to also push air out of a lil 4" hole on the back of my tent. Ive finally gotten my temps to stay at 81 or below this and I run my house ac at 72 and its a brand new house so i know its definately energy effecient. Im running a 900w led though so my temps are slightly hotter to deal with then yours. I can shoot you some pics when i get home if your interested.
Definitely could use some pics thanks dude ...also how long did it take before the fan started making a difference?

I would make changes and then wait about 30 min to get a good reading with my tent all zipped up. The 2 black fans on the oustide facing in starting making an immediate impact only crappy part was i had to raise my 3 gal buckets on dvd boxes so the fans didnt shake my babies to bad. I should be home in a few hours ill get you some good pics of all around my tent

I would just use 1 small fan for now in the seedling stage and dont point it directly on the seedlings. You just want a light breeze on them to help thier stems to strengthen up. If you put the fan directly on them they will fall over and maybe damaged. On a side note you prob will have to upgrade to an inline fan when you can because for the size of your tent the cfm's calculate out to be about 400 cfm needed for that space. The 6 inch inline fans are about 440cfm and the 6 inch duct fans are only rated for about 240 cfm. The better your air flow is very helpful for controlling your environment. Heat/humidity.

is it worth it days it has 8000 btu may be worth it
Not sure cause normal evap. Coolers they need to be filled but this one has btu reading either way if i did need t fill not worth it?
