I only let my buds hang for a couple of days in a closet with a circulating fan in the room, before I trimmed and jarred. They have been curing for 2 weeks and I checked them today and they were still kinda moist. A friend told me to go ahead and cure them before they were dry. What Can I do? I knew I should have let them hang longer. I'm an idiot for listening to him.. Can I paper bag them for a couple of days? Or what? Luckily, it was just 1 plant.

Yeah put them in a paper bag. When the stems snap it should be safe to jar. Just bag it and open the bag ever now and again, if you cure in a jar now you might get mold. Also bags tend to absorb better so you should see the bud dry out pretty quickly, you are fine no need to get mad at your friend...it's all good:mrgreen:

It has to be really dry first before it goes into the jar. As gygax said, put in a large paper bag, open and move around the buds to prevent mold until snappy dry, then put them in your jars. Open the jar daily for an hour and move the buds around until completely sweated out. You will notice a moist feeling once taking out of the jars, leave for a few minutes in the air before chopping it up. It will crisp back up again. You will smell a sweet aroma when you open that jar, yummy.:peace:

Yeah your fine no harm no foul, just like chiceh says...the jar smells so nice when you first open it. And she said something very important that I didn't, move the bud around a bit so it doesn't mold up. Sorry...I forgot!!!

I actually dried all my buds this way this time. I cut all the leaves and buds off the stems, put them aside. Placed all the wet buds flat on the bottom of a large yard waste paper bag. (I cut the top 1/4 off). I left the bag open for a few days as was dark up there and to prevent mold. After 3 days I started closing the bag for 12 hours and leaving open 12 hours. After 6 days it was snappy dry and ready for my jars. :peace:

My buds have already been curing for 2 weeks, so how long do you think I should leave them in the bags? They were not that wet, just a little damp. Thanks again
