I am growing indView attachment 1559161oors and have a ventilation system and fans running. My humidity is around 30% or less and I am growing in dirt. The last couple weeks my planView attachment 1559160t growth slowed, leaves started yellowing, and brown spots started to appear on the leaves. It started on the fan leaves and is now mixed amongView attachment 1559159 the plant. Some leaves are partially deformed and growth has slowed to almost a stop. I tried doing a flush and the plants started growing agView attachment 1559158ain but shortly after began to stall again. I am thinking it is a Manganese deficiency...am i right? Is it something else?

Ya I have given the nutes. I am using Supernatural brand. currently i am using the Grow Terra and their micronutrient blend. As far as the type of water i am using...i am on city water so i fill up 2 50 gallon tubs and leave the lids off so the chlorine will disapate. i have checked the water also to make sure there isn't any excessive sodium or organic material in it.

have you checked the p.h and the ppms of the water? I bet your city water has a high p.h

I was having similar problems... tried adding cal-max and lime because it looked like a mag deficiency. Once I switched to distilled water (I'm on municipal water as well) my plants stayed incredibly healthy for the entire lifecycle. Convinced me enough to invest in an r/o system and an EC meter. I never investigated what's actually in my tap water because I stopped drinking it, but it can't be healthy. (I also "let the chlorine evaporate", never gave water straight from the tap, never worked either)

FF soil, FF nutes, and distilled water just gave me the healthiest harvest I've ever had. I've only been growing for a year but I've run a gauntlet of problems and done a shitload of research. Most of my mistakes were from me not taking good advice and being cheap/lazy with my grow. Good luck, I hope you grow some fat buds!!!

edit: I rarely check PH anymore, only if I suspect a problem. When everything is controlled and repeated, you'll get to know it. Your plants, would do with a good flush with distilled or r/o water, and never give your plants tap water again.

the ppm of my water is about 50 and i fill up these 50 gallon tanks and let it sit out over night so the chlorine will disipate out of the water. my ph meter is currently broken so i need to get another one. I am using Supernatural brand products so it would be weird if the ph is wrong because they come buffered and pretty much mix and go ready. Has anyone else switched off city water to r/o? What kind of results did you get?
