Please help quick I've got a harvest problem

Hello, Ive got one pineapple express plant and nearly all of his hairs are orange, I've left her in a growbox dark with a fan and vent. It's been in there for two day and for some reason it has less visible thc on it! I dont know why because supposedly a dark cool place increases the thc but it's done the opposite. Does anyone know why and what I can do to get the plant to regenerate it's thc quickly before I crop it. Thanks a bunch!

Another symptom of whatever seems to be that the buds army smelling as strong as they did. Still bug buds but does the loss of smell indicate a loss of potency????

if you are looking at the hairs as trys then thats wrong.. the trys are inside the bud you need a magnifing glass to see them.. let them go longer and feed them more bloom nutes.

For whatever reason, your plants seem to be degrading. MyGirls is, of course, correct about the usefulness of a magnifier but I believe that your situation is going to progressively get worse the longer you wait to harvest.

A study was done in 1978 that showed that a 12 hour photoperiod produced twice the amount of THC as a 10 hour photoperiod. Extended periods of dark are not going to increase your THC. What it will do is allow the sugars and starches to drain down to the roots because they are not needed because photosynthesis is not taking place. Harvesting immediately after a dark period before the lights come on will reduce the amount of sugars and starches that you have to cure out of the bud.

THC production isn't happening in the dark. That doesn't mean chemical reactions aren't, just no new production of THC at night.
