PLEASE HELP QUICK! Heat stress!

I could really use some actual insight and not the BULLSHIT COMMENTS I KNOW ITS STRESSED SO HELP.

Alright so I know the mars hydro tsw2000 in my 2.5’x2.5’ tent is overkill BUT I have it dimmed to 200watts.

Temps have been consistent during the day 75-80f
Nighttime temps 65-69f
humidity between 35-45rh%

Going into week 6 flower
Pineapple Express autos Growers Choice

The first pic the plant is still doing great with VERY dense nugs and beautiful aroma. My other one was not as dense but still had some weight. And now I get hoke from work and the temps are 88!!!!!

the leaves started to crinkle, and the pics make it look worse than it is but I’m not fucking this up. I know I can finish out and it’ll still be a good smoke.



MY QUESTION IS:

will it pick back up some of the weight? I just gave them both a compost tea I’m hoping will work some magic. I’ve never had heat stress before so I have no clue. Too much info online I’d rather get a personal opinion catered to my grow.

why is the one still look the same and dense but the other is lighter and crinkled???

I got home today around 4 and noticed all this. I already had a tea brewing so I immediately gave them a feeding. Miraculously the crinkled one has made a VERY slight step in a healthier looking direction.

are you experienced? I would love to hear your take on weather or-not I can get myhopes up. It turned airy during the day. Even this morning the buds were more dense on that crinkled on.

It was between 88-89 from lights on at 5am until around 4 that afternoon. My runoff is consistent with what I water/feed. The tsw2000 is 20” away now. It was around 18 and that stressed them a little too. They look a lot better today, the one didn’t get effected, the airy one noticeably gained back some weight today.

Forgot to add the pot was dry the night before and I knew I should have watered, but my tea wasn’t ready so I stretched the dry period too long. That’s probably why the leaves crinkled and started to yellow.

its not heat stress from a single day at 90 degrees. I've forgotten to open the exhause for my closet, and my temps were up in the 100s for the day with almost zero noticeable damage to the plant, and DEFINITELY no permanent damage.

I'm not going to say what I think it is, but if I'm reading correctly and you only had a single day of high temps, your problem is not the temps.

Compliments on the great looking colas. At week 6 of flower you're almost finished with your flower cycle, so a little foliage fry while not ideal is most certainly not going to stop you from harvesting a great bunch of high quality nugs. You should have seen some of the foliage on my GG#4's a couple years back that got a little too close to my 1000W HID's and the fan leaves were crispy and toasted, but the buds were rock hard and incredibly potent. Don't worry dude. Do your best to prevent any more temperature spikes for the next 2-3 weeks until you harvest, and you've got nothing to worry about. Keep us posted with harvest photos :)

Plants watered at daylight can take some hot temps as long as she don't dry out and has circulating fresh air.
She may get a tan... but shouldn't turn into a raisin on you.

It felt like something was left out of the equation here. High temps coupled with dry roots. Ouch. I water every other day and if I water in the evening instead of morning my biggest plants are drooping heavily. If I waited until the following day my ladies would fry. Lesson learned. What's even better is I don't think any harm was done to your flower quality, and I'm sure you won't let the same mistake happen again. We've all been there :)

Thank you!!! that's what I want to hear!Thanks for all the insight I really appreciate it man. Since then I’ve installed 2 humidity/temp sensors hanging at both canopy levels. I got a hub so it constantly sends me updates and I have alarms set. Feel good about it

Here’s some pics today, after the compost tea the other day and a Kurt feed today, they look much better. I took only the brown crinkled leaves off, left even the slightly green ones because they still have some food to give off.

I was shocked when the weight picked back up on the one in the back.Every cola got SUPER light when this happened, I’m guessing it was using up its reserves?? But now they’re back to getting dense

making a positive recovery, but yes I’ve since Taken care of the temps and airflow. Keeping the tent cracked and wirelessly monitoring the temps and humidity.

Yeah I’m happy to see the weight coming back to the colas and they still smell amazing, super pungent. Got rid of the dried out leaves and tossed some wireless monitors in there.

thanks for the reply. I’ve been cracking the tent to release more of the hot air building up. Plenty of circulation now and the temps have been between 75-79 during the day

I was brewing a tea that needed more time so I stretched it a day past what I should have. The pot was dry for a day longer than usual.
