please help, plants are turning purple and other systems

let me first off start by saying im sorry for not posting pics. im trying to get some, but i dont have a camera or a camera phone. and sorry for the length b/c i dont have pics

but i have alot of plant problems and was wondering if you could please help me out

my grow area:
veg:
small box 3by3 and 4ft tall. I have 12 T5 lights and the boxs temp is around 83 degrees

flower:
larger 4x4 by 8ft tall. lit up using a 600w hps light. the temp is about 70 degrees

problem:

1) I cut some clones about 2-3 weeks ago, and recently transplanted them in small 6in pot. they were looking perfect, super green and healthy then i went away for the weekend and now they look ok.. they are only a couple inches tall maybe 4ins max. with just 3 leaves or so at the top of each. now the leaves are turning light green yellow, and they are also starting to turn purple.

2)i have some older cutting from a different plant that have been exposed to prolong high temps about 93-97degrees. (just fixed the heat porblem just before the above clones were placed in the veg box ) so have been streched hard and are about 8-10 inches all and all there leaves have died and fallen off except the top couple which have turned a almost nice green. i think the main reason why these plants such is because of the heat that they were exposed to.

3) i have some plants that are flowering and almost finshed. about 50 days into flowering. all differenet strains.the nugs and the leaves look awesome, but the big fan leaves are starting to die. Each plant has it own problem, but i will post pics for those. I was really wondering is it ok for the big fan leaves to die and the plant still be healty??

My opinion.

#1 when cuttings turn lite green I add nitrogen. Purple stems are either an indication the plant has been stressed or it is just genetics.

#2 If the light was too far away because of heat issues plants will stretch. Now that it is solved move the light closer.

#3 When plants are in about 6th week of flower it is natural for some fan leaves to turn yellow. After the plant is at the end of ita life cycle. As long as the upper leaf around the buds is green I would say no problem.

this is all normal with clone.

sounds like nute deff. are you feeding them. the top is the new growth you want that to be green

again all normal. your coming into the end of flower. its just sucking every thing out of the leave and going to the buds.

im still workin on pics, but i just checked my babies this morning, and all of the ones int he veg chamber are turning purple. the leaves and the stems. and i mean purple. Its just not like the tips of the leaves are pruple, the whole leaf is purple. And this is for all the plants in there, the small lil clones, the bigger ones(8-10Inches) and finally the big ones in the veg chamber(20inches tall). Please help. Im watering them all today, so i would love some help . Thanks to all that read this

i forgotto ask whats the temp in the veg chamber.

the temp is 83 degrees, and the lights are on 24/7. i was thinking about changing the lights to 18/6. would this help???

I am trying to help but without pics its pretty tough.
First off If these are different strains then yes I think
you have a problem, I would rule out genetics.

How about this, I will show you pics.



Does that look like it?
Most soulitions are flush and start again with half nutes.

here are the pics of my babies in flowering, and the last couple that are super green and dont have big buds, are the plants i got the small clones from and the same strain as the bigger bushy plants in the above post, and the other three that are almost done is where i got the clones from for the tall and super skinny (with no leaves) plants in the above post

the first 4 are of the my purple haze plant

the next four are of some random strain

the next two are another strain

the final three are where the clones(the smallest of my plants) came from.

anything else u need, more pics close ups, what ever just let me know so i can help you help me out..

ya thats phosphate deff. its from not useing nutes. just start feed them 20-20-20 at 1/4 strength for a couple weeks in your caseand then work up from there. make sure you check the ph be4 youwater, and check your ph in the runout every other week or so.

do i need to give my babies in flowering more nutes?? im giving them one serving of PuraVida Bloom it 2-6-6 i think. Its 2 tablespoons a gallon, and i end up giving each plant half a gallon. Also whats the reccommend amount of nutes to give my plants in veg??

in my experance i found that if youuse a NPK of like 24-8-16 during veg then during flower a bloom nute with no nitrigon and a higher PK will keep every thing pretty even steven. like i said your going to have the leave turn and die but that what you have im calling nute burn.:hump:
