Plating germinated seed.

This might sound really stupid and obivous but I was just checking...

When I'm planting my seeds, does the white root out of the germinated seed face downwards? Or does it not matter

yeah. the leaves are still in the seed.

OOk, i think some of you have misunderstood me maybe...

When i put the seed in the pot, I'm guessing I put it in with the root facing downwards???
