Alright, so i have 4 plants in 12/12
I lost track how long the have been
in there ( noob mastake )

anyway, I Inspected my plants today,
and the ends of the white hairs
are turning brown, ( some are really dark )

id' say about 10% of them are brown,
the others are white, and the leaves
around them are getting really crystaly

about how many more weeks
should it take till i can harvest?

sorry i don't have a camera right now
or id' post some pics

let the hairs go 70-90% brown in your case. and youll start seeing your leaves turning yellow. thats normal in flowering. good luck!

Thank you, lol this if my first grow, i didnt even think i could get this far.
i havent even had many problems,
only not enough light ( now i have 400watt hps/mh)
and overwatering

yeah, i already had them under only 6 cfl's for veg ( took about two months )

and i odered the hps/mh for flowering ( the conversion )
and im using Hps for flowering
and when i do my next grow im going
to use the mh

from the sounds of it your about 7 - 9 weeks into flowering. My 4 sativa are about the same stage at 8 weeks flowering. Check out videomans posts if your not doing so yet add molasses to watering schedule mmmmmm they look sooo good can't wait to find the darn cam so I can post some new pics since the move

Thanks, everytime I think they are ready, I look closer. Not even 50% of the hairs are amber yet. The tricomes still only look a bit cloudy maybe 50%. So I think this week I will harvest them.

ummm short satives and the smooke is amazing been drieing a few here and there to hold us over hopeing for at least 1z per plants since this is first grow I'd be happy with it... Bag seed skunk mmmmmmmm

Guys the real thing is to see and get most potentcy. Is not the hairs. It doesnt really matter if your hairs are 50 or 90 percent brown. That doesnt really help. Get a microscope that can zoom in x25 i believe thats teh right number. and see the trichomes on it, the mature ones and how many. That gives you best ideas when to harvest for best THC amount along with other chemicals in the Cannabis.

I went 10 1/2 weeks with some Sativa in my backyard. My other babies were in veg so i had to chop her to get it. I was on the couch just eating, vague memories after them kinda highs from that plant.

I have been looking through my microscope at 60x, they look cloudy. Some not all though. I don't want a full amber colour right? On the trichomes? For more of a head buzz?

tomorrow im going to go to radio shack
and get one of those microscopes

I bought one of those microscopes and have a hell of a time focusing on anything. I realize it's a simple tool and any numbskull should be able to use it... any suggestions?

I had the same problem. Do you wear glasses? If so take em off to look in that scope. And don't get right on the plant either, just close enough to see them. Just use the 60x setting. Focus on the card they give you with it first then you should be set.
