plants overcrowded

Hey guys I'm going to try n explain as simply as i can, i started my first successful grow about a month and a half ago. I have 6 plants growing in a 28 gallon bin, and there now on flowering mode, there all taller than a foot, i got them growing in inside a growroom inside a closet, the grow room is about 4 1/2' long 2' wide n 6' in height my question is if theres gonna be a problem when the buds begin to grow cause of how tigth all the plants are ,i was thinkin i could just cut off most of the middle n lower branches to give them a little more room. So any advise would be great, i also dont plan on separating them cause i was gonna add a smaller bin with clones to use the sog

I grew too many a few times and what happens to me every time is that all the plants suffer. I try to give mine plenty of room now because it's better to harvest one awesome plant than to harvest 3 shitty ones.

They usually bush out a lot in the first few weeks of flower. What you mentioned will work though,just prune off the undergrowth that isnt getting any light, so just the tops that are getting light remain.

What u can do is split them up. Do u have a cabinet or small closet just for darkness? Only negative is that you will be rotating plants and your lights will be running 24/7 w/ u changing out your flowering plants.
One set of your plants will go thru a 24hr dark cycle to fall into a new dark cycle.

Basically this is what im doing now. I got lucky and germd 12 seeds hoping for about 6 girls and i got 11 very healthy og(not sure which) strain. So yup thats my idea or try and lst(tie them down) as much as possible w/out causing damage

Yes and no. Only defoliate if u need to really get your light coverage deeper or if u plan on focusing more on cola growth up top
