ok, my plants are 3 weeks old. I was growing them in soil, in little 6" peat pots. now I have the roots growing out of the bottom, so i decided to make a homemade hydropponic unit.. I have an old tote filled with sterile water, and a nutrient solution of 10-15-10. I put less nutrient soultion then it says to use( it says 14 drops and I put about 10). I have an airpump and an air stone to supply oxygen to the roots. So the roots are in the water, and the top part of the roots are in soil, and the soil is ver, very moist all the time.. Now since I have been growing them this way(about 3-4 days), they have gotton a little bigger, but not by much. The older leaves are turning yellow, just slightly though, and the top leaves are looking like they've been burnt. One has a really bad burn spot, and another plants has just 2 little brown specks(barely noticable). Should this be something i'm worried about, and what actions should I take to ensure their health?
I was thinking of taking the soil out, and growing in a hydroponic medium, yet i'm scared to disturb the roots too much.. the roots are growing right through the peat pot.
