Plantmax MH 250w or Sunlux 220w hps super ace

I have a 250 watt MH ballast. I am currently using the Eye Sunlux 220w Super Ace hps conversion bulb to flower 17k? lumens (unsure, not a reflector bulb, looks like ultra ace). I just got a Plantmax MH 250 watt 24k lumens . Which one should I use to flower? Has anyone used the Plantmax MH with good results for flowering? Plantmax claims to have more lumens and it throws in the red spectrum. Maybe I will plug it in tomorrow and see how much red it has for myself.

I'd go with a Plantmax I have a 400 and love it and it looks just like my buddy's Hortilux Super HPS when it fires up and the spectrum is pretty much the same and cheaper...

I would use the mh for the first 3 or 4 weeks then finish with the hps.

Ohhh responses, finally. heh Thanks. I am still using the hps but I may try the MH on the next grow. I don't want to shock my girls.
