hello all i recently started a grow and planted my seeds directly into 3 gallon pots. My question is once these plants become big enough can i transplant them into 5-7gallon pots or am i going to have a problem?

The real problem you're going to have is keeping your soil moisture level in the proper range. Planting a seed directly into three gallon containers generally isn't advised.

Def a soil moister prob but the time that seedling grows into the three gallon and transplant to a 5 the seedling is gonna be pretty big for indoor grow! But you can easly put your seedling into a 4 inch pot even after you placed into a three gallon. And once your four inch or what ever your choose is nicly rooted, stick right into a three! U prob will want to say into a three gallon. I mean, you get some big nice plants in a three gallon, and can also get a lovely 4 oz a plant :) Thats good on a seedling

Hi, oh man... In all respect 4oz on a three gallon pot in standard to a well rounded grow room. That being said, I have a good environment control, my feed dialed in but most importantly- your VEG. How many times do I see people veg 20-50 plants under 1 1000HPS. Fuck, I just cannot get over it! When I grow in air cooled shades I tend to keep my plants smaller and run 9 plants a 1000 Watt light. My plants are in 2 gallon pots with sunshine mix #4. I tend to average 2.2oz a plant; that's with three weeks veg from clone. Sounds crazy, I get that off Kush too.
When I flower under open reflectors I run about 23-25 plants in 2 or three gallon pots under 2 1000HPS and 2 600HPS in one flower room. (this was past set up) I got pics ill post to show u over 4oz a plant meaning over 5LB on 3200 watts :) . Thats 5 rows of 5 plants under 3200Watts = 5lb plus. And when I did it in rooms like that (flip flop) the temps were not that controlled and heat was usually an issue. So, not sure what u get but u should be able to hit it...
Hers some photos.! Just a few. I also have a post on General Marijuana grow under 'Post some new pics, feel free to ask any questions'. That is of my new set up.

Thats great!! I stay with my strain so I dont really like to venture out! No matter how bad of a grower one may be, u will allways get sticky ass bud and great weight!! I honestly feel that hitting 4 oz is a great standard.. I mean, theirs not much left I can do with the strain to increase its potential unless flower out in the sun along the Mediterranean! lol

Those pics u see are my old grow room set up, my new one is New indoor grow pics, and feel free to ask questions under general marijuana grow threads. Its a new approch to yeild but I feel its a good approach. More plants numbers but average is about 2.2oz to 2.8oz a plant.. So 100 plants works out good to me :) Take a peek.

Well, i clicked the link, it works.. When u look at these pics that I posted earlyer on in thread its the same building were my new set up is. I just tore down the 8x8 rooms. I have three of them. But two were flower rooms on a flip flop. The middle was clone and veg. etc. Now I utilize 23x11 flower room and I veg in the other room u see. Well it looks like it now as it does in the pics I just have to put up some veg lights and put up some tables for the next veg, and than veg in flower room for a week . Thats the plan, but I can get away with veg when i run this many plants and my wonderful strain for yeild. I love it, and yet to find a better strain. It took me about three years to get the right variance in the cross! And thats with two grow houses in total of 32 lights. Lots of flowering.

Lots of work.
Myself I love variety. I normally grow 6-8 strains a year, and maybe repeat 2 or 3 strains the next year. I only flower 6-8 at a time. Normally it's 4 in and 4 out, keeping perpetual.
