You probably planted it to deep. My sprouts are normally well above soil level under the same 24h as planting the sprouts.Hey guys. I just planted the seed 7 days ago and it looks smth like this. Is the sprout dead or do i still gotta be a little patient?
The germination process of the seed was a lil slow aswell it sprouted about 4 days into the process. View attachment 4911800

The seed ir right underneeth the sprout it’s deffinetly not too deep. It’s the first sprout that came out of the seed. You probably planted it to deep. My sprouts are well above soil level under the same 24h as planting the sprouts.
The seed hull/cotyledons should be above soil level after you've planted the sprout in soil.

Do the "dreaded" paper towel method if you wish to better monitor the process. I've always done it that way, sometime I've even cracked open hard to sprout seeds between my teeths just to open the seed hull. I do this on seeds that haven't sprouted in a couple of daysThe seed ir right underneeth the sprout it’s deffinetly not too deep. It’s the first sprout that came out of the seed.

Most sprout in a couple of days after you cracked the shell. This sort of issues is very common with old seed stock and I still have a lot of them.
That's why I do the paper towel method, sometimes the seed is to old to even break the seed hull from my experience.
What do you mean by that? What medium?
Whats it planted in?What do you mean by that?
