Plant starting to flower back into veg

I have a plant that was in 12/12 for 18 days and is just starting to flower today, can I put the plant outside? or back in veg room? I noticed my roots were turning green, and getting algae, then I clued in and realized my totes werent dark enough. Should I just cut off the green roots, get a new tote and keep 12/12 or would it be fine to put it outside or back in veg room?

There's no reason you can't put it back into veg, but your harvest will be delayed. Trimming the roots will also slow your harvest. Shanti4life seems to have the right fix. Check out the thread Fungus or Algae.
