Plant problem: Yellowjackets.

Left one out on the veranda for a few days then threw it into 12 12 and I caught some buzzing as I caught a. buzz. Yes, I felt sorry for them. But it was a small nest and the workers bounced off the lights for a few days, then each day, I'd see one atop the biggest bud. He'd curl up as he was sucking on a trike, and then fall off dead. Yeah, I got stung. But I carry an epi pen. Watering can in one hand, jamming a needle into my thigh with the other. If farming was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Lol try water, they hate it. If you can do it away from your plants, boiling hot water kills wasps and hornets instantly.

I tell ya, my front door is barricaded with another big nest in the brick. They ate a full can of wasp spray and it just made them happier, more dangerous. So you've given me an idea. I'll inject some boiling water into the crack at night. Thanks.

Sealing the crack helps, too.
