Trim the dying leaves and let her keep going. Where there is life there is hope. The new growth looks better, let 'er buck.
Okay glad to hear this take on things I was getting pretty bummed, so taking off that many leaves at once ie all the browning ones, won't massacre the plant?

Should be fine. Damaged leaves are more a drain on the plant. You would be surprised at how much foliage you can remove. Do a quick search on defoliation, you will see plants stripped down much more than you will need to do to yours. Might make you feel more confident about it.
Sadly that is true but many have been there. I still think he can salvage it as long as he has his issues resolved.
Yeah its my first grow so I was expecting id run into problems sooner or later, sucks that it happened this far but hey live and learn, hopefully I can bring her back
