gday guys, the main problem is the bigger plant, the newest leaves are gone abit darker and curled up, nothing has changed but this only just happened,
also is my little seedling is growing all crazy like, now just to put it into perspective the plants were planted at the same time, the big one sprouted right away (within a week) the little one sprouted about a week or 2 after that and didnt grow all that well, it actualy has to bits of new growth, like 2 stems.
all help is welcome.

Light type??
Distance from plants??
nutes used.. which should be none right now???
Medium planted in????

my leaves are curling, here are some pics doesnt help...

curling could be underwatering (leaves drying) or too much light/heat

more info will probably save a bump and produce an answer!!

ah to right,
#1 i am un sure what what seeds they are as they were given to me by a friend, they get 2 squirts of water from the squirter bottle in the morning when i get up, and 2 in the late arvo when i get home, but it depends on how dry the soil is.
#2 - light type is 2x 8watt cfl's
distance is 5 inches from the plant
nutes? im guessing that nutrients? if so i put abit of osmocote in there about week ago
planted in a seed raising mix i baught from the local gardening center
#3 - i cant imagin the temp would be to high but i'll put the monitor in there anyway, its been quite cold here lately.

i just noticed the pH is abit high as well(6.5ish), any simple ways to bring it down? i head that adding saw dust to the soil can bring it down, does it need to be anyparticular type of timber dust?

i realise that lol, but i didnt think that 2 of them would sprout in the one pot, eg out of 9 seeds only 2 sprouted.

I had this same problem. I put in a better ventilation system and decreased temp by about 5 deg. Leaves flattened out in a couple days. And the light is not too close. You can even put it like two inches away. To decrease ph add small amount of vinegar to your feed water.

so ventilation, well its not in a box its in a room, but the door keeps closed all day, should i maybe open a window? i have some computer fans that i could connect to it, would that help?

and how much vinager per how ever many ml?

never mind on the vinager i got the ph of the water right to 5.5, thanks for that tip.

I looks to me like ur lights are too high so ur plants are streaching plus muttant seedlings can work out fine with some TLC my church was a muttan but she's looking lovly now,
try putting a plastic pint glass ove them if they still fit this will keep in the moister that ur seedlings need

the big one wont fit in a glass, but i have built a grow box with some lights and good circulation,
first question is the plants need co2, but make o2, what is heavery, like what will rise to the top, just so i know where to position my fan?
