Hey guys. Got a few plants growing outdoors in Australia this summer.
They’re in coco/potting mix, very good growth on 3, one of mine are fucked. I forgot to put enough drainage holes in this pot, 100Litre pot, but the plant still grew fine up until flowering started. I’m guessing the roots hit the bottom inch of the pot which wasn’t draining, causing this problem.
I started losing lower branches on the left side of my plant, one after another working it’s way up the plant. The plant was topped as a seedling so it has 2 main branches. The left branch so far is only once affected, off that left branch there’s like 10 more coming out of it. One by one the leaves wilt, branches seem to go soft or rubbery, leading to whole branches dying. I’ve already lost half the plant this week, also with very slow growth and yellow spots on new growth.
The weird thing is all the branches that have fallen off ( I literally cut the whole left side of the plant down too). And discovered all the branches on the affected side have black-grey inside the middle of the stem. Is this something to do with root rot? I have put lots more holes last week but no improvement.
