So a friend of mine pitched a couple bag seeds into his little fishtank, for some strange reason. and I guess one of the seeds got sucked into the gravel by the air filter tube where it sprouted. the root got sucked into the tube where the air bubbler is and the damn thing actualy started growing. I guess the air tube is providing 02 for the root. I know it probly wont live long but i thought it was kinda cool, so here it is. if it continues to grow i will post more picts. enjoy.

it has streached quite a bit already, and the root is about 5 inches long growing up into the tube where the bubbles are. i would imagine it will streach to the top searching for light because the lights are tiny white led's.

It's a glorified DWC! lol, as long as the roots get enough o2, it should keep growing..

Yes, but I wonder what will happen when it gets to the top. How weird would it be if it actualy tried to flower under water, lol.

It would probably stay spindly and not be able to grow out of the water. Maybe just crawl along the the edge of the tank and grow down like a vine? lol.
It shouldn't flower unless the light goes to 12/12, but if it does, it might kill the fish.. Or get them ripped..
