what do i really need in order to do a successful autoflower grow. i know its a little cold but i live in southern california. should i protect them from the cold when they are small or something. im thinking of getting the seeds online because none of my seed people can get a hold of autoflower type strains. let me know what you all think.

I too am about to start an autoflower grow. I grew around this time last year in the norCal area and it could get pretty cold at night. Apparently the ruderalis genetics help the plant resist cold. Just plant them in Fox farm ocean forest or fox farm happy frog and give them nutes every other week or so and they will live.
