Hi i am planning my first grow i do know the basics but am far from expert and will need some help. I built a little grow box 2x2x2 feet. i am planning on using compact flourescents for the grow. Now i ordered some seeds off of the web they are feminized. to start i ordered 2 easy rider which is a low rider2 x ak47 and 1 master kush. For the first grow i am going to be planting the easy rider. Now my first question is will this be big enough?? and how many cf's would u all suggest i use? also i have read that i should use a 2 gallon planter is this correct. any help would be awesokme thanks.

Cfl's are not the best light for getting the best out of the plants.But if that's what you have then here goes this may sound over kill but belive me it is not.First line the box with mylar if you can get it if not then paint the inside of the room matt white.In a space the size that you are saying 2 ft/2ft/2ft you are gonna have to flower realy small.Use cool daylight spec on the top the old school flouresent tubes you can get them at 2 ft so i would have 3 in the top,Put a block of wood under each light and screw in place.On the walls of the grow room have all cool tubes apart from 2 warm this will give the plant enoughth heat without haveing heat issues.Mark 1 ft from the bottom of the room on each wall then put 2 cool cfl's then on the same wall 6 ince higher put 1 warm and 1 cool.You want 4 light in all on each wall.Do the exact same on the other wall and you will grow a nice plant.Get the low eco friendly lights that are less watts but still kick out the same watts has a normal light bulb you want 6/150 watt day lightcool spec and 2/150 cfl warm daylight spec and 3 of the highest watt flouresents daylight cool that you can get.Don't forget dude cannabis doubles in size sometimes tripples when flowering during the first 2 week so you will only get 1 plant in the room of this size.
K tghanks man.. do u think id maybe be better off using my closet? i just dont know how i would go about ventilation if i were to do that? also how i would get enough cfl's in m closet. i live in an apartment block so just looking for the best way to pull off a decent yield.
