Planet Earth in my front yard!

I gotta say, my house is probably the most perfect house for me. I live here rent free pretty much, rent being my 70 dollar cable bill and 80 dollar electricity bill. I am able to grow here freely, within reason since I am not yet legal, and I am pretty sure my neighbor is legal as well! I just don't know how to approach that...

Anyways, back to the subject, my house is enclosed in a bunch of bushes and trees, seeming away from the road, yet I am right there smoking my bong on my front porch as I got little piggy sitting in my driveway keeping his lawful eye out for speeders and not for us real "criminals" :hump:! As I am sitting on my front porch enjoying one of the first sunny spring mornings of the season, I notice my neighbors cat hunting down a bird! I dont know about you, but I absolutely love shows like Planet Earth, so I imagined in my high brain that the cat was a lion and the bird was an ostrich, ended up getting me a lot more amped up than I should have been, but it was amazing to pretty much watch Planet Earth live and local!

Dude! I'm right there with you, Iono how many times I just sat out in the yard as a kid and just watched shit happen "Lived outside of town" Birds, squirrels, sometimes a mole would pop up, my cat was a lazy cat, wish he would hunted mice or something hehe.

sometimes i watch the birds and squirrils in my yard. the other day this squirril was hoarding all these cashews i had thrown down and he kept having to dodge these angry doves that kept attacking him. it was pretty cool. i hummed the mission impossible theme for him.

I love watching nature unfold, especially in my own back yard... I just won't let my cat actually kill the bird or the lizard, as he doesn't eat them... if he ate them, I'd have no problems.

I live in the mountains and see nature all around me, bear cougars wolves you name it.
When I go to the woods I only carry attitude and a camera. and a pipe:weed:

Aye dirtsurfr, I too lived in the mountains... I'm in Louisiana now attending school but soon to return to my home (as I see it) state of Alaska.

totally agree.

Once I smoked up in the forest and then I see 30 squirrells in a clan, one side was chasing the other. Then one saw me and started yelling CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK as it ran away. 2 Squirrells then scouted what I was as I see them look at me up in a tree as they slowly climb down. The rest all ended up following the yelling chipmunk. One of those times I wish I had a camera on me.

totally jealous of you mountain livers, I love visiting the mountains in my area and observing the wild life. its just another gift other than weed mother nature gives us!
And Verde it sounds crazy right? but the bottom of my driveway and my porch have bushes and trees blocking them so even though my driveway isn't too long it feels almost separate from where the cop actually sits, I can't be too stupid with all my incriminating possessions lol.

Did you get a chance to say, "I mean would you just look at that? Just look at it." -- That would be great if you did.
