if i were you, i'll be putting it in a small pot first, then when it gets bigger transplant them in a 1 gallon pot (1 gallon=3.7litres), then to a 3 gallon pot. but it really depends on how big you want your plants to grow.

also if you are planning to use a 2000w might as well use an mh bulb or an hps.

but i'm not you, and anyways i can't smoke right now!

oh my..

no, i am not using an hps, i don't have cash to buy those cool lights, but hoping that i can buy one of those someday.

8 weeks veg is fine, but for flowering it really depends. try growing them a foot tall, then flower them up. :)

It depends on your environment.. If high temps and stuff its gonna stunt growth etc... 8 weeks veg under a 400w mh I topped it 6 times so I got 12 total tops and the plant itself is up to my knees I just swapped to flower the other day

How big are your room/tents? A/C size? Do you have everything already or are you waiting to buy it? if you are waiting, how much startup cash do you have? Whats your electric in your house like? can you run all this without having to upgrade you electric. If you tell us as much as you can about your rooms and what you have already youll get the best possible answers.
Straight forward answer:
Start them in 1 gallon and transplant to 3 gallon(11.1L) 5-6 weeks into vegging. They wont get rootbound in your pots in 3 gallons and 2-3weeks before flipping gives them enough time to get settled.

In all honesty though i would scrap the CFL's, You have to have them super close to the plant to get any decent results and even then the inter-node spacing is terrible. Go with two 400w MH's or a single 1000w, i prefer two 400's for perpetual if thats what you're going for because they can be different height to accommodate the plants. Even scrapping the 1000w'ers for flowering and using 600's. I would rather have 4 600w's using 2200ws in total or even 3 600w's using 1800w's and get a wider coverage.

The tents are 200x200x200 ac not sure but its strong with carbon filt, i have the things. electrics are all sorted and ready, and will the 3gallons last the flower? seems to small.
For the vegging i was having it in a long cuboard so the many cfls would go along nicley, could u suggest something better similar if cfls are bad

Personally if your going to veg two months I would start with one gallon and transplant to 5 gallon. I do 3 gallon start to finish but grow smaller plants. Veg for 4-5 weeks and grow 2-3' plants. If you got 1000 and some time you can grow bigger for larger yield per plant. I agree though cfl would be ok to start but it would help if you could bump it up to t5 setup or smaller hid for mid to late veg.

There are people way more in tune with roots than me on these forums but in my personal experience i have never had problems in 3gallons. If you were to use smartpots or something similar then youll be even better. This also reflects how many plants you plan on having. With CFL's and 2 months veg you will want 3gallons since they wont be huge plants and you will want to cram as many as you can (assuming no restrictions on plant count). If you go the route of something more powerful for vegging and you have to have a lower plant count then go with the 5gallons.

What are the dimensions for the cupboard? Assuming it isnt some massive 4' high, 6' long and 3' wide that you could sneak a 250 or 400w in then i would look into LED's. You could pick up some cheaper Veg only (more blue) 100-200 watt sets with 3w leds.

I could tell and list you a million ways to plan your room but i dont know very much about it. So.....
I still really need to know your room size that the tents are in
Can you build your own grow room instead? IE build a divide in the middle or quarter it off.
What equipment do you already have?
How much cash can you put towards buying more stuff?
DO you prefer any training methods?

Answer all this and we can bang out a solid grow room plan to get you the best and most.
