Pistils already???

Hi guys so im looking for some words of wisdom from auto flower growers, my current setup is 1.2x1.2 room, 600w mh. This is my first time dipping my toe into autos as I've always grown photos and the strain I've gone for is fast buds cinderella, I'm on day 18 from seed and they are already showing pre flowers only real concern I have is the height of them as a couple of them are still quite short compared to the others and my worry is if its showing pre's already then my yield is gonna be small, any words of advice would be greatly appreciated

We had the exact same issue with the exact strain from the exact breeder. It turned us off autos.

I grew there Cindy. Was nice smoke! Uplifting yet relaxing towards the end of the high. Tasted like peach and lemon. One on the right, 5L pot.

No bad size for day 18. If I were you I’d run them through then start a few photoperiods to veg while these Finnish off.

As I said I’ve had them show sex around day 14 and still produce well. One showed sex day 15 and produced 7.5 ozs lol Another day 14 and produced just over 5 ozs.

What you’re looking for is a vigorous stretching phase as they transition to flower. Then you know you have a decent potential yield

Some go longer. But in my experience which is all I have (20-30 autos) indoors they have all shown sex by day 19. Usually around the 14-15 day mark there’s the first indication of a pistil emerging.

Outside they take a lot longer.

I personally believe there is a factor of stressing them into flower. What that stress exactly is I don’t know. Small pot, too much light, too warm, too dry etc could be one or multiple reasons.

What are your temps by chance?

My temps are pretty much dialled in, never above 30c lights on and around 21c 22c lights off plenty of fresh air in and movement around the room, pots are 15L autopots which I've always used and never had an issue with either
