Hopefully someone can help me out here, so When I'm on RIU I'm using my iPad Since I don't have a desktop computer or a laptop. I also have a Galaxy S smartphone which I use the portable wifi hotspot app to give my iPad Internet, that's my setup now here's the question, I want to post pictures on RIU of some buds for my smoke reports. The pictures were takin with my smartphone, so can I get the pictures from my phone to the iPad, sorry if it's a dumb question I'm not the greatest with computers/technology, I did read the posting pics forum but that seemed like if you had a computer with a digital camera. Can I get pictures posted on RIU with only a smartphone and an iPad? Any help would be appreciated

Sorry everyone for the dumb question, I think I just figured out the obvious answer to my problem, I'm pretty sure I can just eliminate the iPad and use the internet on my phone and search for the picture files in my phone with my phone and then just upload them that way... If there is an easier way feel free to let me know, thanks

Most of the time pictures taken on cell phones/iphones etc... have a gps record of where the picture was taken and it is accessible within the pictures details.

It's called exif data, and you should run an editor on your picture to remove that data before posting the image.
