Pharmacy Epson Salts

Hi all. One of my girls has developed a nasty mag deficiency. Been checking the garden centers for epsom salts, but no luck this time of year. Does anyone have any experience using the epsom salts from the pharmacy? Is there anything I should watch out for? Thx

I bought mine from a dollar store. Just says Epsom Salt across the side and gives instructions on how to use it in a bath.

I'm pretty sure they're the same as long as it doesn't have color or fragrance added.

Thank you, I figured it would pretty much be the same. I'll look for the au naturale.
During my research of growing MJ I read that when using Epsom Salts for growing only the garden variety should be used. I was able to find Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salts) from the Gro Store ($13). I compared it to the same size container (4 pounds) that I purchased from Walmart ($3). Yep, I was taken and ripped off! The household variety cost much less and would be suitable for any purpose (my opinion), whereas I would not consume the one purchased specifically for growing plants. Another pricey lesson learned:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Exactly the same thing, just different packaging and cost.

As you found out, the stuff labeled magnesium sulfate cost more. Right under the "Epsom Salts" in smaller letters is 'magnesium sulfate'.
