I wouldn't suggest it .. its concentrate may be to high ... not to mention its prob more $$$ then a small bottle of both up and down would cost you at a grow shop .. just my opinion

If your pH is too high (alkaline) a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice (added to your water, not the soil directly) will take it down very cheaply. A bit of baking soda will bring up acidic water.

dont use lemon juice or vinigar they both = bad news

More than likely your PH would be high if anything. As long as you are using phosphoric acid to lower PH, you are doing it right. It doesn't matter what the label on the bottle says it is for, it matters what is in the bottle. Keep in mind, even with the PH adjusters sold by grows, you will use a tiny amount to accomplish changes. For example, I use about 7ml to lower PH by .5 to .75 in 25 gallons of water.

I mean phosphoric acid is phosphoric acid, there is no mystery to it. They sell it at grow shops, pool stores, and pet stores. All have different labels and different prices. All have the same damn shit inside them. Buy it anywhere you want and pay anything you want. At the end of the day phosphoric acid wont change.

I was wondering the same thing one day and I was told that aquarium ph down has problably chloric acid.
For plants yoiu'd want phosphoric acid or nitric acid.
