Ph problem?

ok i dont know if i should have done this but peat plug into rock wool and i am doing hydro flood n drain and my ph hunts for some reason set it at 5.5 and by next day 6.3 or well anyways here some pictures thinking its locking something out due to the ph using the fox farm grow big for hydro whats the best ph for this and is that brown shit from the plug and is it worth keeping i flushed twice already sucks :confused:
