Try another brand of storage solution; that's not normal.
Storage solution is ~ 3 molar KCl.
I've used a few bottles worth (currently have Milwaukee brand solution) and have never once seen any precipitates.
A bottle lasts for years.

Same thing happened to me but I had the meter too. Said to put some in the cap and close it. Overnight its dry and all crystals.

I quit using meters cost too much too much maintenance. Im lazy though. I use GH test drops and a vial, never looked back.
Used one long enough to know:
Tap 7.2
Light early veg mix 6.7
Late veg/early flower 6.3
Mid flower 5.7 (+1ml ph^= 6.2)
Stopped getting solution

Might do it again once because i didnt write down my formulas.

Mind showing me a link to it?

I used to use essentials ph meter.
No such thing as storing it in solutions.

Mind you they became unreliable in the last few years. I guess they started outsourcing to a cheaper country.

Now I just use drops and mostly I don't need to do that very often.

It looks like you are using an Apera pen? How often do you use it? It's my understanding that if you use it regularly it doesn't need to be in storage solution as long as you keep the sensor moist.

If you are going to store, maybe use one of the vials that seal around the base of the pen to reduce evaporation. Like the one that came with the pen.

Its actually a ac infinity ph meter and ill def try to find a container to close it off to help evaporating i use it pretty often every ffew days since i only use a 5 gallon bucket to make my water in with nuits before watering

I spoke to one of my buddies, and he said I should actually be putting that storage solution inside of the cap when i close the probe the reason its doing that is bevause all the water is evaporated and left everything else behind

For now since i ran out of solution i put it in 7.0 solution which has been working great and doesn’t evaporate like the other did but im going to try getting more kcl or whatever and put it in the cap of the probe when closing it
