Ph Levels??

I'm buying a ph meter tomorrow and am wondering what should my ph be? I am growing in soil, should my water be a certain ph before I water them or should I just test the ph after? Any help or tips would be great

6.5 is ideal. hope you bought the 7.0 calibration solution to calibrate your new ph tester. mine was -.8 out the box from what it should have been. always ph water before watering plants. and always ph after adding nutes, not before.

Superb advice!

I hear all this news about how useful ph kits are for water testing, but to date ive never done a ph test during normal or mixed water/nute feeds on any of my auto grows. i guess it varies for everyone due to how hard your water is an stuff like that.

but follow any advice anyone who offers beginner420 because knowledge gaining now cause learning this stuff now will help you in future grows. i also suggest alot fo researching into others who grow your intended strain an grow methods. good luck with your grow!
