PH kit from fish aquarium shop

Few months ago I purchased PH kit from fish aquarium shop and seems to be it served me well in the past regulating water PH level.
But I purchased hydroponics system and wonder if I can use my "fish" kit

I used fish PH up and down for awhile. It does work but depending on how much you need to make adjustments, it could be more expensive than buying hydro ph up and down. Four pounds of powered PH down is about $20.00 and goes a long way. The small bottles of liquid fish PH does not. I ran the pet store out of fish PH down a few times at about $6.00 per small bottle.
I like ordering powder because it ships cheaper than liquid where your paying for the water weight in shipping. I very seldom need PH up unless I add to much PH down. In that case, simple baking soda brings PH up.

A good Ph pen is around $100.00, but that's just the cost of doing business.

Growing without a Ph pen is like trying to hit the bullseye on a target blindfolded. Good luck, you'll need it!
