Ph Craziness

I believe I have a high Ph problem. My meter reads at 7. My plants r starting to show micro nutrient deficiencies. I am growing roots organic soil (regular). Only used water up until 2 days ago used canna bio flores, molasses, and budswell. I noticed deficiencies and ph issues previous to issues. I started testing my water and reads 5.5. I used ph down bringing my water to 3.5 and still 7.0 in soil. Wat am I not getting?
