Anyone have experience with Advanced Nutrients pH perfect line?
I'm about 4 weeks into flower with White Widow and Critical Mass CBD. The seeds are from ILGM. Growing in Fox Farm Happy Frog. I've been using Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi (Grow and Bloom) with a few of their other products (Voodoo Juice, B52, Big Bud, Bud Candy and Overdrive). This is my first time using a "pH perfect" nutrient system. The plants are looking healthy, no signs of deficiencies, and I haven't been adjusting pH up until now.
I use RO water that's measuring at 0 PPM and around a 7 pH. After adding the "pH perfect" nutes it's around 1,050 PPM and the pH drops to around 4-4.5. This seems crazy low to me. My understanding is that part of what makes Advanced Nutrients "pH perfect" is that they're chelated to be available to the plant at a wide range of pH. So now I'm wondering if my plants are doing OK because they're still able to get nutrients at this pH, despite it being really low. And if that's the case, wouldn't it be better to bring the pH up to at least around 6 for even better results?
I've read in a lot of places to not mess with the pH of "pH perfect" nutes, but I'm wondering what harm could possibly come from getting the pH back to a reasonable level.
