pg-180

pro-grow 180. i am planning on getting one soon. has anyone ran into any problems with the unit or the company itself? i am just curious and your experiences would greatly help me out. thank you

I can only give my very limited experience. Ordered my PG180 at end of March, got by first of April. Has been working like a champ every day since so no need for company interaction yet. I hope it stays that way.

Its hard to say. I do not have a light meter but visually it appears that the PG180s effective lighting drops off dramatically outside of its footprint. When I raise the lights quite a bit, it does cover more area, but how intense is the light at the edges? Again, no way to measure. So judging by what I see with the eye, I only use the panel for 2 mature plants at one time (I only use it for flowering).

I will say this: my Pure AK is only 5" below the light as I cannot raised the panel any higher, the plant stretched tremendously in flower. I do not see any issie with light bleaching but the one top that is not under the light has bent itself to reach for the light. This top is actually at the edge of the panel case, not the lighted area itself.

that is good to hear about how close the light is. mine are at about a foot to 1.5 feet from mine. i need to get a light intensity meter. that would help out greatly
